The directors of the animated film Encanto, Byron Howard and Jared Bush were inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Colombia to make the film. They toured many cities in the country and places such as the Valle de Cocora to learn about their traditions and customs and, of course, to find inspiration.

The film tells the story of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house in a town located in a wonderful enclave called Encanto.
Enchantment's magic has endowed all the children of the madrigal family with a unique gift. The gifts range from having super strength to the power to heal, but one member of the family has no gift, it is the girl Mirabel who discovers that the magic that surrounds Encanto is in danger. Mirabel becomes the last hope for her family.
The cast of voices in the original version includes María Cecilia Botero, Wilmer Valderrama, Adassa, Diane Guerrero, Mauro Castillo, Angie Cepeda, Jessica Darrow, Rhenzy Feliz and Carolina Gaitan.
