Sergio Ramos story

Sergio Ramos García is a Spanish footballer who was born in Camas, Seville, on March 30, 1986 and plays as a defender for Paris Saint-Germain in the French Ligue 1. Sergio Ramos began playing football in the youth ranks of Sevilla and made his debut in 2004 in the First Division with that same team. In the 2005-06 season he signed for Real Madrid and became the fourth player with the most games played for this club in history, with 671, after Raúl (741), Iker Casillas (725) and Sanchís (708). At Real Madrid he was captain since the 2015-16 season and, among other titles, he became five-time League champion, four-time European champion and four-time world champion.

In the 2021-2022 season he signed for the French team Paris Saint-Germain and in the 2023-2024 season he returned to the Sevilla Football Club.

Sergio Ramos is the Spanish footballer with the most caps and is the third European player with the most caps for his national team, after Gianluigi Buffon and Cristiano Ronaldo. At the world level he is the footballer with the most victories in matches played with his national team.
